One of my favorite things about Los Angeles is the ability to buy pretty much anything. When we first moved here and I broke my foot and didn't have health insurance we found a medical supply store five blocks away that sold me a walking cast. When I had to buy a digital caliper for creating drawings of an existing piece of furniture I went downtown to the scientific instrument supply store and purchased one for $8.00.
This city is full of so much cool stuff it's unbelieveable! Which brings me to the point of this whole post: Francis Ford Coppola's personal wine. Yeah, it's in most local liquor stores (Trader Joes for $16) and yeah, I didn't even discover it on my own (see the Adam Carolla podcast here) but this bottle of wine would be nearly impossible to find back home in CO and for fucks sake people it's made by Francis Ford Coppola!!
Freaking amazing. Can't wait to pop it open and watch the Godfather.

I have actually seen some of his wine (yet to try it) so we are not entirely lame here. :) I'm assume I should now.
